January Favorites

1. Corkcicle Tumbler – 16 oz. ($24.95)

I’ve been searching for a mug that will keep my morning coffee hot for a couple hours. After getting Cooper in the car, to day care, and finally starting my trek to work, regular travel mugs don’t seem to do the trick anymore. I end up with ice cold coffee within a half hour. I was looking into getting a YETI Rambler tumbler, but they are just so bulky and I don’t need 32 oz. of coffee. Then I found the Corkcicle – a 16 oz. tumbler that comes in various powder-coated stainless steel mugs, with a similar clear lid to the YETI, except it CLOSES!  It has been amazing so far and my coffee stays piping hot for at least three hours. Now I’ll finally get to finish a cup!

2. Anderson Lilley “Winter in Manhattan Beach” Beach Butter Body Cream – 5 oz. ($24.00)

I received this as part of my FabFitFun winter box and it has been a dream come true for my dry winter skin. The scent is subtle and comforting. Within the first two days of using it, my hands were noticeably smoother and less dry. For the win!

3. Otterbox iPhone Symmetry Series Case – iPhone 6s Plus/6 Plus ($49.95)

I found this simple yet super protective phone case while shopping at my local TJ Maxx. I also spent a fraction of the retail cost, but I promise you, I’d pay the full price for it. If you are looking for a phone case that is sturdy and protective without being bulky, look no further. The smooth back of the case allows it to slide easily into a pocket or clutch, but still has a silicone rim on the front to protect it from scratches. The hot pink color I purchased is also super girly.

4. Benefit Precisely, My Brown Pencil – No. 6 ($19.99)

This is hands down the best brow pencil I’ve ever found. The pencil is super thin so the strokes look hair like. I’ve never found a pencil that the color perfectly matches and it looks natural. The only thing I don’t like is if I scratch my eye brow, it will smudge a little bit but the positives extremely outweigh the negatives.

5. Heated Blankets

This is not a new idea by far, but I am feeling heated blankets while posted up on a recliner when it’s cold. Mine is actually about to kick the bucket so I’m in the market for a new one. I’m linking a couple great options below.

    1. I highly recommend the tumbler for anyone who is super busy and on the go. Liquids stay super hot, and it can be for cold Liquids also if you just add a straw.
